Read the previous role
An original Baker can identify herself as the original. In one Demo run, #3 did so. The same village ended with #4 also showing as Baker and saying they had been a Judge.
When a Baker says they were a Baker
In another Steam Demo village, #9 said they had been a Baker and showed Good / Villager when inspected. The same board showed Shaman, an original Baker, and Bakers who said they had been a Knitter and a Poet. The exact order of the role changes is unknown. If you see this line, check the card’s alignment and look for the conversion order in Oracle.
Puppet in the browser build
A September 2025 itch.io update documented the same line for a Baker turned into a Puppet. That case belongs to the browser build. In the Steam case above, #9 showed Good and the two revealed Minions were Witch and Shaman.
